YASD: HaAs^Nemelex, stupidity>RNG
After Amnesiac encouraged me to try a throwing-based stabber, I rolled Hoglof. He found a really early Nemelex shrine and a very helpful robe which set him cruising. Then he played with electricity and got zapped.
I had literally just checked the Nemelex guide, as I'm not super comfortable with Nem, and read this:
