YASD - Flight Card killed me twice then I suicided

act 1 - draw from an escape deck, its flight card, aka bat form, aka overload then dead card
act 2 - resurrect in view of 8 enemies, repeat act 1
act 3 - suicide in a fit of despair

Felid resurrection puts you to a random place? Isn't it supposed to put you somewhere safe?

Nope, it just puts you in a random place in the level. Just dying over and over is quite possible with felid HP if respawning puts you in a bad spot.

No, I think the only place that's off limits for the respawn is the immediate area around where you died.
