I've fixed that each my trishula swing takes exactly 1 turn in terms of turncounter (8 swings - 8 turns). I was sure that it has to be .5 - 2 swings a turn, 8 swings - 4 turns. What's wrong? Why are my swings that slow?
Now I'm experimenting with weapon since I've had a lot of enchant weapon scrolls to spoil. I've enchanted a vanilla bardiche to +9,+9 (it took 7 ench weap III to go from +9,+8 to +9,+9, such a pity) and made Dis with it. Now I see that being unbranded it is definetely worse than holy trishula dpt-wise. Anyway I'm out of the enchant scrolls so no more +9 weapon is available for me now.
More, there are a lot of situations where my SH gives me near-immunity. Deep dwarves can damage me only via damage reflection, so these Zig levels are very easy. Elven, undead, orcish levels - the only damage source for them is either smiting from priests or tormenting, so I can slash my way through enemies to kill those damage-dealers and then nothing can hurt me. Having no shield renders me more vulnerable to melee attacks, so trishula+shield is better in defense too. So I'd like to see those calculations to check what is better dpt-wise - holy trishula or flaming/freezing bardiche (with my +XX slaying bonus).
The next question. I'm carrying a pile of +9 steel javelins but mostly don't use them, just killed a pesky tormentor or two in early Zig. Maybe I don't need them at all? =) Or they can become more deadly if I spend some exp in Throwing (now 14)?
The next question.
Mummy level of Zig effectively stopped me. I was extremely lucky that my teleport landed me next to the exit; but it seems I had no way to kill a huge crowd of greater ones.
So I see now the following options.
1. Projected noise + all matters of haste/swiftness/running to get to the stair... it scares me.
2. Use the 'Tomb' card to evoke it promptly near the wall and dig the passage nullifying LOS to 1-2 tiles. Downside: I will have no matters of escape if I run out of consumables (healing rot and stat loss), so it scares me too.
3. Go in Summoning deeply (as my previous DECj did) and summon a small swarm of dragons. It will require some time, a lot of food and VAST amount of exp to be invested. The downside is simple: maybe CPA prevents lvl 9 spells completely so all this exp will be wasted.
4. (?) Flight card on power level 2 places a shaft in the player's square. Does it work in Zig?

And one more.
It seems to me that I'm loosing more scrolls/potions due to fire/cold when I have more of them. What's the mechanics there, I have a chance to lose an item/two/three because of suffered fire/cold damage or each item affected has a personal chance to be spoiled? Or maybe each stack of them?
P.S. And the last.
I'm going to try Zig once more, but I need a lot of gold. Are there any ways instead of acquiring for money to earn it?
