YAVP - DEIE: *easy challenge completed* *my first streak:D*
I've just ascended with my Deep Elf Ice Elementalist and 15 runes in the pack!
The two things which make this win different from my others are the fact is the first time I've realized a streak of wins
and the fact that I've completed a small challenge: "Win with as many runes as possible collected while already carrying the orb".
The second point has been really doable: with this elf I've cleared 3 zigs, so I was enough powerful and I had so many consumables and items I could easily face every dangerous situation that could happen during my ascending (and descending in the side-branches
). I've grabbed only 4 runes (vault and lair's branches), so if someone wants to beat the record grabbing 5 runes, it's still possible
I'm more happy for the first achievement: I've never thought I could do a streak of win (even a simple one like 2 wins) because I tend to do a lot of mistakes and to play rashly in the early game, so I usually suffer a lot of YASD even with very good race/class combination. Surely, playing a *very* easy character like a DEIE has helped me a lot
Now I'm quite doubtful about which combination I could play: I'm quite tired of hybrid or mage-like class, and I was quite curious to try a stealthy character, like an enchanter. As I've already won with a Sp, I was thinking to try some more peculiar races, like vampires (I'm intrigued by their peculiar "food" system). On the other hand, now I'm afraid of abruptly break my streak
, so maybe I could go be coward and play a well-tried combination
