You could see an Executioner and a friendly harpy.

Now this was exemplary stupidty. To sum up:
1) If you're going into Elf:3 and you have an MR++ ring, put it on.
2) Unlike Neqoxecs, Wretched Stars are not fragile. Don't bathe in its light for 20+ turns waiting for your army to kill one. Most certainliy don't do it with TWO AT ONCE.
3) When you're at Str 1 and you're wearing a Str-5 ring, take it off.

The actual moment of death went like this:
- Executioner shows up around the corner!
- Executioner slaps you!
- Deteriorating body: -1 Str!
- You are at 0 Str! Paralyze!

It's hilariously tragic to die to an Executioner that indirectly paralyzed you. Bonus points for the name of that ring.

I know Vs have spirit shield, but 67 HP at xl 20 would scare the living daylights out of me. In Elf:3 no less, where an annihilator can blink into range and hit you for 3d34. Very scary!

Note the mutations. I wasn't 67 HP when I entered Elf:3. The plan for annihilators was to not give them a single open tile for them to blink towards me. That I got banished shows that plan didn't work because I walked in front instead of going 't', 'r'.

Yep, that was EXP greed. "Just one more Lv 7 spell" isn't what this character needed.
