Whuh... How... how do you escape from tricky situations? I guess you just never get into any danger?

EDIT: I guess you rely on that Ru jump attack thing? Never played Ru, very curious.

With his stats, he probably doesn't have to run from much of anything at this point. And that gear, too ;) But yeah overconfidence is probably your biggest threat right now, I'd avoid going deeper than 15 in zig's, just get your 15 runes and go.

You have most of your fighter skills maxed, so might as well pick up magic. Focus on haste first, then pick up some aoe for dealing with packs. Have you not found regeneration the spell yet?

Yes i know i didnt pick the best magic school to have blocked *translocation* (this is like my 5th or 6th time trying Ru out)-- but nah i havnt even used Ru's jump attack once lol, that apocalypse spell is nasty though xD -- yes my gear and stats keep me out of trouble but i have used several teleport scrolls (i know having no scrolls when threatened sucks but its not a killer-use wands+potions) and that wand when needed, and i have two wands of healing.. i have haste castable now and a few other spells (i only use deflect missiles, haste and rarely song of slaying lol).. and yep im being very cautious in the zigs ;)

if this was you would you stick with the one handed mace + large shield? and would you keep freeze on the one hander? i have a bunch of brand wep scrolls and 3 scrolls of requirement to use :/

Formicids might have an easier time giving up artifice and words, and translocations, than other characters.

Yes, +8 large shield is useful, you already have Shields 25 and +9 eveningstar of freezing is good enough. If you can, try to get several +9 eveningstars with different brands.

My Fighting + Mace/Flails + Armour + Shields + Evocations are all at 27 and my highest spell rate failure is 4% - deflect missiles.. so im good on exp really lol, got slings at 21.. found a nice greatsling with speed + 4-5 other things.. but its a two hander i think? might train throwing to toss rocks at things maybe lol.. but this disc of storms is pretty nice for messing stuff up :lol:

The mighty Pandemonium lord Mnoleg resides here. - about time.. only have the demonic rune so far from pan.. need to leave to drop some crap at my stash which i really dont need.. but i have a lot of nice rings idk why i dont want to throw away :oops:

you can see the 1- or 2- handedness of a weapon from its description screen in the game

its laying in lair:2 and im deep in Pan xD it doesnt matter my eveningstar works good on about everything

you can do ctrl-f, search sling or greatsling, press !, and hit the key to the left of the object in lair:2. You'll get the description

The cursed +4 greatsling of Pluiskuh {speed, rPois rC++ MR+ Int-4 SInv}. it is a one handed weapon -- thanks, i didnt know i could do that
