Most Stupid Death Possible?

While loading up my character to assess his position in the dungeon, I accidentally pressed CTL-Q rather than CTR-S and quit the game. This is what happens when I attempt to play before my morning coffee. The worst of it is, I was recording this run and was about 8 hours in to a posted youtube series.

Is there any way to resurrect this character? What the hell am I going to tell my subscribers?
