CIP: DEWz that I never thought would stay alive

Incredibly early in the game I chugged a potion and got two negative mutations. Feeling pissed, I drank another just for kicks and got two more. Since then I've had a ridiculously good game, despite having only about 50 health at XL 14 and only 4 str. I'd love any general advice people could give me, since this is my best game in a few weeks and I don't want to YASD this one up.

I'd keep the elec sword and put a little into Charms. Learning Summon Ice Beast and/or Condensation Shield will probably help keep you alive too.

Edit: As a general rule don't train more than 1-2 skills at a time. Some Fighting would help your HP some too.

New question- worth switching from short sword (now +4/+4 of elec) to a +4/+2 scimitar of elec?

As a Wz, you'll probably melee only for stabbing... so you should probably keep the short blade

I'd try to find a staff of cold and wouldn't bother putting xp into melee until you do.
