Lost in Transition

We lost our new international section in the forum change. Also, the old one had an RSS feed. Could we have that too?
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...

Re: Lost in Transition

Yes, when I setup the forum I only created a skeleton of forums for Danr to get started. Created "Strangers' Corner" sub-forum in the "The Output" category now.

@danr: You forgot to set permissions or copy them from another forum, so nobody had access yet. All forums have the same permissions now, so just choose one to copy permissions from when creating a new category or forum. Also, the theme is much nicer when not attaching forums to root. Better create a new category and then attach forums to that.

I wasn't aware the RSS feeds were used on the old forum ;-) I enabled them here too, but only board-wide for new posts (called "The Tavern") and new topics (called "New Topics). Feeds for forums and topics show ugly superfluous icons, so that's disabled for now.
Please report bugs to the bug tracker, and leave feedback on the development wiki. Thank you!

Re: Lost in Transition

Thanks Napkin - I intended the Outpost to be the "International" section, with just threads for different languages.

I had no idea about the RSS function.

FYI, I have no plans to install any plugins / addons. The "Thanks" module at the other forum was installed by default.

At most, I think it would be nice to crawlify the theme a bit, but I'll leave that to someone with better skills in that area.
