Forum Skin

Don't get me wrong, I find the forum skin quite clean and it gets the job done, however it's starting to get a bit dull over the many months I've been visiting here and I'm curious as to why there's no alternative options (yes, today I looked for an option to chage it in the UCP but I can't seem to find such an option, if there is one, please notify me, thanks in advance).

I know this forum seems to prefer to keep things pretty basic (users don't have huge-ass SIGs like in other forums with images and stuff (although there is the option of disabling SIGS in the UCP, but that's beside the point)) so I can't help but feel like I'm being a bit annoying asking about this!

It would be fun to have "dragon hide" and "troll hide" skins.

Crystal plate mail, too, for the really thick-skinned user.

Does that mean the default skin is an animal skin?

I have to say that I feel vaguely cheated that this thread was not about a proposal for Forum Dragon Armour.

Anyway, were that to be implemented, it should provide a strong resistance to flaming, but just spotting a troll should induce berserk.

If you don't feed or fight the troll, it's the one who goes berserk.

A Problem are the phpbb addons and the local changes to code and theme. Adding more themes means adjusting each theme to our adjustments. I can make the source of the current running forum available if someone is desperate to volunteer. ;-) Ping me in IRC, though, not a frequent guest to the Tavern. Cheers!
