Posts and login timeout

I wrote a new 2 page feedback post, and apparently I took too long; when I hit Submit it required me to long in again, just to drop me into an empty Post a new topic page, I click back, to recover what I wrote and it's gone.

I'm not sure if there's an option to increase login time or to save drafts automatically, but it there is, login time should be increased or saving drafts automatically should be turned on by default.
