Hi folks,

We have a new moderator in the Tavern, and it's archaeo! Please join me in welcoming him; I think he'll be a great addition to the team.

Thanks guys! I promise to try and avoid screwing anything up, and I expect none of you to hold back if you have any criticisms or concerns.

And Sar, I'm as excited as you are to find out the answer to that question! But in all seriousness, I don't expect to do any non-obvious bans without conferring with the other mods.

Is it me or is Archeo the only mod around these days?

All I can say is I sure am happy we nabbed him when we did.

I am definitely not a dev, just a Tavern moderator. And I think njvack, the only other active non-dev mod, has just been busy lately; he's definitely still around.

As far as I'm aware the devs actively posting on the forum include: me, dpeg, wheals, gammafunk, ontoclasm, MarvinPA, and neil. Sorry if I left anyone out.

Not everyone visits all that often, but most reasonably serious threads in GDD have at least one post from a dev.

Edit: since there's some confusion on this point, let me also say that tavern moderators and devs are two separate groups with some overlap. Posters who are in both groups show up with the orange dev color instead of the green moderator color.

Yeah, I'm not around much; I don't pick up the computer very often at home these days, and have been pleasantly busy at work. Don't worry, I still love y'all.
