Allow deleting posts in CYC

Usually you can delete a post if you do it fast enough. I tried to do this in CYC and it said something like "You cannot delete posts in this forum."

For this message the author wheals has received thanks:

Re: Allow deleting posts in CYC

I'm confused. You shouldn't be able to delete other peoples' posts, but you should be able delete your own. I think? At least, it looks like you should.

Re: Allow deleting posts in CYC

I think you can delete posts as long as no one else has seen them (at least that has been my interpretation of my past experience) I think the error message might just be misleading.

That's probably it, then, just a bad error message.
