CYC isn't a spam forum, although spammy topics are allowed. CYC is also GDD lite. Honestly I think we should break off those two unrelated functions, and just create a new forum for the GDD type brainstorming that currently happens in CYC.

Done. I'd always wondered why I got that button some places and not others. Turns out it's a per-forum setting because I have no idea why.
