Forum title for server admins

I would like to suggest that server admins get a separate group here on the forums. This can be practical if people wish to PM us pleads for help when their saves are stuck or similar.

Some recognition is always nice as well.

Any thoughts?

It's a good idea. Ideally, it would be easy to figure who's taking care of what server.

I've already set my occupation to "Maintaining CLAN" for this purpose.

But yes server admins should probably be recognizable in the forums just as devs are.

I think that being able to PM a server admin would be a nice feature for those who are not on IRC.

How will you deal with people like neil who are both?

You can set the default displayed group. For example, I am in the Counsellors group, for administration purposes, but I have set my default group to moderator. In my opinion, dev status trumps server admin status, but I can change it to whatever people want, on a case by case basis.

Okay can someone give me a list of server admins so I can get this started?

TZer0 (CLN), neil (CSZO), Napkin (CDO), at least. Others who (I think?) don't have forum accounts are rax (CAO), johnstein (CBRO), sd1989 (CKR). neil and Napkin are already in the developer and forum admin groups respectively, I think it's possible to change your displayed group from the user control panel somewhere though so they could pick which they want to be displayed as by default.

I'm fine with this. I can't reply to your private message because I'm apparently not allowed to use private messages? So if the goal is to have people PM me about password issues on CAO, that's... not going to work very well.
