I was thinking more like Fire, Ice, Earth & Air respectively. Earth & Air already has the benefit of being single schools as well as having races with up to +3 apt.
Anyways, I´m all for Glaciate but not sure Ice Storm needs a name change.

I do like this proposal as Ice storm needs something to compete (FS has BOTH smite targeting+vortices). Glaciate sounds like a really fun spell to use.
I think that all level 9 spells should be either all single school or all dual schools.

I noticed with 19Dex, 17 Dodge i had 12 EVA (Merfolk with +2 Plate Mail). Seemed i had to invest quite a bit to make it budge.

I propose that spells offered by Vehumet aren´t timed (as in you can always learn spells that he offered on a earlier occasion).
Sometimes I would like to have memme´d a spell that he offered earlier, but doesn’t anymore. This is especially true with races that have low spell casting aptitudes.

What´s funny is I never used the Rod of Inaccuracy, not really reading it´s description until the other night. Always disregarded it cuz I thought the name of it implied that the more I zapped a mob with it, the less accurate it´s (read: the mob´s) attack would become. Lesson learned. :shock:

Sorry I should have been clearer. Yes it used to work, I usually get this response after a few weeks using git and then just do a clean insteall. The $ isnt part of the command line “make TILES=y”. Change the X/X staple for each specific spell and instead write the exact spell power % you have at the moment - much like spell hunger was changed from weak/good/great etc. to a %-number. I´m not exactly sure in which version it was included, since it has been awhile i played a Nemelex worshiper.

Non-extended (if you count Slime as non-extended) + regular 3 branches are the only rune branches where most of your enemies are still living.
Change tactics accordingly (Life Prot is helpful, ditch or switch Vampiric weapons to Holy wrath etc.) for the other 11 rune branches.

This DjBe has some wacky slaying bonus although I´m not yet familiar with end game Djinn´s. I might switch to TSO and go for more than 3-4 runes, maybe learn a few spells along the way. The three rods saves some ammo but if i wanna do a full 15 runer i prolly need to hang on to Trog longer for ammo ...

I brought up that question not so long (9 months) ago viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5862&p=79526#p79526 and at the time rotting mutation food always gave bad mutations apparently (I also saved/loaded 100 times to "confirm" this). Has this changed?

I feel like Self-Petrification in the long run is a pretty superfluous and gimpy version of Statue Form.
