I've gotten ~20 chars to Lair, all with vastly differing play styles and equipment. For me, or at least my method of combat, spiny frogs/mambas aren't a problem, and I'd like to keep them as is.

I've never had a problem with mambas or spiny frogs. They go down easily, and I always wonder why people complain about them.

I usually don't sweat easy game. It goes pretty well, and it's pretty relaxing. When I hit lair, though... that's when my inexperience really kicks in. I can navigate lair pretty well, only dying occasionally to a hydra, but when I hit the sub-branches it gets harder. I can do swamp pretty well, but...

What I love about comborobin is that I can get deeper into parts of the game I normally miss.

I feel that Zin should let us attack pillars of salt while sanctuary is active. Just a minor gripe, but I don't feel that Zin should have any aversion to punching salt... same deal with glaciate statues.
