For some of the hairy ones like minmay listed, maybe when an enemy is 80% teleported, there is not an 80% chance it will teleport, but there's an 80/10=8% chance or 80/4=20% chance. If you're a MuIE and Pikel is resisting your freeze attacks, it's because he's wearing a robe of cold resistance. Find another way to attack him and/or flee.

Aren't ammo gifts on a different timer than weapon and armour gifts? Isn't it already set up so getting ammo gifts doesn't reduce the number of other gifts that you get? It looks clear that the only cost for training any skill should be the opportunity cost; that XP now can't be used for something else. Or it is now harder to train some opposing skill.

I like that smite works over other enemies and can't be resisted. Sometimes I wish it were set to something like 10% of max HP like torment is set to 50% of current HP. I think I would still have to prioritize for that, but there would be fewer, "Oh, I saw that, so I'm dead" games.

I went through with rPois and rNeg++ and only got rot, not slow or poison. I don't know if anything short of Necromutation will avoid the rot. I used Flight and Swiftness to minimize exposure time.

Would it make sense to give HP based on some combination of dodging, armour, and shields skills, much as MP is given based on Spellcasting and Evocation skills? +4 darts still seem useful for getting rid of fleeing creatures even as far as the vaults. I don't think I've had a character survive longer than that who didn't either have ranged spell attacks or slings that replaced the darts.

The only time I ever encountered Mennas, I ran just out of his LOS and called 4 brothers. They all exhausted their zerk and poofed away before they could kill him. He's hard for them to hit. I managed to take him out, but I'm not sure they helped much.

You mention throwing things into water and hitting walls when you miss; do you know that you can target an enemy and press "." instead of enter to have the missile stop at the target whether you hit or miss?

I don't like the idea of making Hive a portal vault. That makes it too difficult to carry all the food out. I guess carrying a potion of levitation in there isn't too onerous.
