Ditching the starting book is a big mistake IMO. Butterflies and Blink are very powerful survival tools. A Jester should never die to a lone Ogre or Orc Warrior.

Uglies lose a turn whenever they change color, so it's actually not hard to get away from them. Very uglies are pretty rare in my experience, but I'm OK with that because I don't enjoy getting rotted and napalmed.

My perception is that eyeball paralysis doesn't last as long as spell paralysis. Typically 2-3 turns as opposed to 4+ turns. I might be wrong. There are some cases where I'll put points in str or dex, but the majority of the time if you're not under Trog you should be raising int. Because spells are good.

MDA, MR cloak, randart gloves... your armour is pretty good. That said, you don't need a better weapon and you have heal wounds/teleport/haste covered, so your choices are limited.

I would do staff acquirement if you don't have conj or air stashed somewhere, otherwise armour.

Or, you could be flexible to what the rng gives you and ditch stabbing altogether. Put the PDA on, grab a scimitar and buckler, and start killdudesing. You've put barely any XP into the the typical En skills and you don't even have a god yet. You're not locked into a sneaky character by any means.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, you really shouldn't be using Bullseye. EV is a much more useful defensive stat than SH. Get a buckler or shield of resistance. Makhleb and careful play should be all the healing you need - ditch regeneration. Airstrike is very useful for sniping the occasion...

Enchant only fails above +4, not +3, and the infrequent jelly isn't worth wasting scrolls on a not-endgame weapon. Throw stones, zap wands, use a throw-away weapon, or just walk away.

Eh, I never curse my weapon under Ash and it's pretty rare for me to burn EW scrolls on anything other than my endgame weapon. I'm not sure if taking away the brand inventory management is that big of a deal.

You bought the ring of vitality on turn 22855, yet when you died you didn't even have it in your inventory? I don't understand. It's significantly better than the rings you were wearing, especially on a character who can't cast regeneration.

Testing the trunk build:

1. autofight is broken, gives an unspecified lua error.
2. message window colors aren't quite right e.g. poison/contaminated corpses aren't green/brown, fight messages aren't greyed out, etc.
3. the app crashed on my first death, but it didn't crash on my second.

I thought of a good reason to have the files installed on the sd card: morgues/char dumps. Un-rooted people won't be able to get to these files, which means they won't be able to post them online for help.

With the power of paint I worked out a keyboard layout. My goals were to include all the missing buttons, get tab+ctrl on the main tab, the most used special characters on the '123' tab, and the lesser used ones on the '&*#' tab. It's kind of a mess.

we could also just remove poly wand/spell. it's never really useful against dudes and when dudes use it on you it makes you want to tear your hair out.
