Spiked helmets give headbutt as well as additional damage.

If you're a shield user, maybe. But for 2H I think +4,+12 vorpal glaive bests any vanilla bardiche you're likely to get.

The only really good piece of loot I ever, EVER got from Lair:8. It was from the Yak ending, which, aside from the elephant ending, seems to be the only Lair:8 ending that gives items better than your average dungeon crap.

If you see a large rectangular room with a door in the Lair, don't open it if you're not ready for mass bees/J's (jellies, brown oozes, even azure jellies).
