I have a really hard time with the premise; silence is incredibly good even with the risk. ALiches can just erase you with the right rolls and are a major hassle otherwise, as are many other monsters that just get neutered by silence. you are talking about skilling a useless thing to 27 just to sacrifice it later when you switch to Ru. Thats not optimal at all. Of course you can win with anything given enough time/skill/luck but this is a pretty bad.

Ru is a god that shines the most when you can earn piety ASAP.

you actually died because you used an exe axe with 0 training. Exe axe needs 26 skill to hit min delay and is not worth switching for since you cant even use it un the forseeable future.

tomb is more about tactics than equipement but basically you would want fog, silence, sustain ab and restore potions, remove curse scrolls, hopefully rN+++ If you are comfortable with LOS management and proper tactics when dealing with summoner/tormentors then sure go ahead and do it but take it slow.
