Honestly, I've wondered why Repel and Deflect Missiles are Charm+Air instead of Hex+Air. Thematically, hexes affect things other than the caster, and strategically, it'd remove the synergy of Haste + DMsl.

I'm almost certain Chei prevents berserk haste, but not the rest of berserk's effects.

I think it's the choice you make with the lantern -- it prevents using a weapon and greatly weakens your spellcasting, in exchange for reducing LoS and summoning popcorn undead to trip up the pursuit.

It would be rather nice to be able to gain nutrition from corpses while in spider form. The situation now just leads to ending your transformation, butchering, and transforming again. I guess it'd be a slight buff in that you could spiderform to get around wielding a cursed blunt weapon, but really....

Especially if you have a source of Hunger- and something that reduces movement delay, Abyss has plenty of food laying around, and it's a whole lot easier to leave than Pan.
