Incidentally, I just realized that the wording of last time's challenge could have been exploited by pacifying or banishing uniques instead of killing them.

I have a pretty diesel DsEE^Sif hyrid on CBRO that I won't be able to finish due to other commitments, so I'd really appreciate it if someone else finished it off. This is an ideal character with which to painlessly earn the Sif invos title, just as I had intended.

I just checked the bug report site and apparently it was my post that led to the bug being fixed. Strength affecting shields penalties was apparently not intended behaviour.

I had a similar issue, except with miscast chances. I trained shields from 5.1 to 14.5 for a nice randart shield, and my iron shot miscast chance stayed at 10% (compared to 2% with a buckler). Poison arrow will carry you to a 3-rune victory. You'll want either OoD or iron shot for undead etc. eventually, but poison arrow will annihilate everything for now (yes even undead).
