I think a lot of people are taking this post as a joke ... It's on cyc for a reason, but that's not because it's a joke ... It's because it's farfetched.

I genuinely believe that if these gimmicks and aptitudes are put together, they'd make a solid (if very strange) racial makeup.

you have to be alive to cast. duvessa, well, trolls are better because they are impossible to lose with if you are paying attention, not as casters specifically. so are centaurs. do you think Nagas are better than ogres at casting? the slow movement makes them too vulnerable, and impossible to kite...

IMO the cleanest and most lateral fix would just put the lost properties (Stasis, Clar, Warding, rMut) onto 'trinkets' or 'charms' that always keep their effect whenever carried.

Spriggan statues wouldn't be particularly OP, considering they have dinky HP pools already and bad (though not infinitely so) melee aptitudes anyways. Naga statues are already a generally bad idea, considering that casting Statue form means melding your barding and +7 scales (as well as body armour)...

Why exactly does dig have to be consumable when EE has always been about manipulating rock? Seriously ... The chance should just be allowed to rise with spellpower... Metal does, stone does not, neither rocks or crystal. Vault breaking is one EE's greatest strengths, along with killhole creation. Shatter can still retain the advantage of being fast enough about it to get the job done sans letting things...
