I wouldn't bother with spells with a character in CPA doing a 3 rune game. And I would not swap the CPA for something else. You should be training armor and then fighting + armor.

When a god doesn't have a 1* ability they mostly cannot compare to gods who do. So personally I can almost never pick them.
It might be beneficial to let piety decay from 6 to 5*. It is for sure beneficial before extended.

I hate Yred too and this could be a better version. Keeping the name Yred.

I would pick polearms because as a Berserker you can train your weapon skill to a high level easily, and bardiches have higher damage and reaching. Lajatangs have better brands. Better brands are not worth the lower base damage when you're a berserker in my opinion.
