I've never had luck (or sufficient skill) with a Gozag character so far, but from what I understand, the Tomb, and in particular Greater Mummies, should be susceptible to bribing. IMHO attacks out of LoS are bad in most branches no matter if it is CBL or Fire Storm as it encourages standing on upstairs, making noise (both spells are extremely loud so you don't even need to do anything else) and spamming the spells indefinitely. That was one of the most difficult Swamp 4's in a while for me. The rune was also defended by a Bone Dragon, and my repeated LRD at 7# did nothing to its (still excellent) health. But Tm. Tl and hexes are almost ignored by autotraining, which is probably as you want it.
BTW, I think of autotraining as not switiching the training to 'manual', but still using the option to either switch off a skill, or focus it. With this conduct, you'd probably get quite close to what you want.
