Both drain and venom are very effective against the vast majority of enemies in a 3 rune game. With that being said, i'd probably wait until i had two brand scrolls to rebrand it if at all possible. Otherwise i'd probably consider doing it before Zot or extended.

I'm pretty sure the idea is that you can wear 5 FDA if you want to, but you have to deal with the extra encumbrance. You are a slime, you should be able to just shove objects into your body (infinite inventory space) as well as engulf enemies to deal asphyxiation damage. Obviously slime-vomit is me...

Depends on how we're defining it. I killed one or two boggarts but I was also surrounded by all the shadow creatures they'd summoned, which would put it more around a dozen or so if we count them.

Technical reasons. The Sword of Power (and a few other unrands, like the Singing Sword I think) have mechanics that don't work with Spectral Weapon. Presumably it's there to punish the one redeeming feature of tengu, since apparently their low hp isn't punishment enough for having permaflight that gives them speed 11 and bonus EV.

I ID the singles first. I tend to wind up with stacks of !flight and !degen and sometimes !mutation before I get more than one of !curing or !hw.
