Hellfire is crazy since it doesn't respect fire resistance. :( Yeah, fire weakness sucked (that's what you get when you're stubborn enough to play a full Unarmed Combat Monk: no randart weapons with resistance properties for you). Another failed attempt at playing Mummy Monk (killed by a Hellfire in Iron City of Dis; I was totally reckless and cocky). Although it can also be considered as successful, since I managed to get 6 runes and clear the Orb chamber. :) Tinju Maut means "Death Fist" in English. :) Unlike the ...

We really should make it clearer what this school does and what that school does. Flavor-wise, I don't think Ogres are much better than Humans at learning how to fight.

But when they do learn it, it might benefit them much more than it would benefit Humans.

The benefit of learning something should not be tied to the time needed for learning that thing. Flavor-wise, at least.

Generally, as a melee character, don't try to fight ogres and uniques the 1st time you see them. Just run and pick weaker enemies. Unless you stumble across a blowgun (and a sufficient amount of needles), wands, or a sling... then you can try to fight those baddies.
