Perma-wrath, I dig it. Simple. Maybe making activations somewhat less frequent on average to compensate?

You couldn't game this by, say, mucking about with trash mobs until you get a wrath action, before tackling a boss monster, to make it less likely you'll get one during that encounter -- right?

IMHO innate Blurry Vision 3 is better than workarounds to give back some functionality provided by scrolls that the species cannot do without. That solves issues raised with amnesia, enchant weapon/armour, identify, and remove curse, but still leaves blink/fear/fog/holy word/immolation/etc severely ...

Double-necklace HP/MP regen while standing in water seems beyond OP. Moreover, when you found or made water, you would then want to lure the entire floor to where you can fight it from there. In watery branches you'd be invincible.

I thought the positional game around multizapping was good for DCSS.

Self-damage from lightning is part of its flavour. With rElec+, many lightning school spells become more usable, including 5-range LB. Seems ok to me.

With the merging of food, wands, and books, without commensurate bloat of other demands on inventory space... maybe Nemelex is fine now? Just carry all your decks and spam cards in any reasonable fight when you need to make space? It's better than carrying all 20 weapons you might ever use against 1...

VAF -- I wonder if that is borne out by the data. Sounds like a good strategy, but speculation that it's so dominant/obvious that a problematic proportion of players will fall into it. Maybe there's enough other attractors in Gnoll's strategy-space that it's not an issue.

Welcome back. Permanent ally is really strong. Good choice for Gnoll since it supports using modest combat skills in situations that would be too dangerous solo.

Why create an interface when we already know (roughly) what decisions the player would make using it? Instead, make Beogh's Recall prioritize targets based on HD.
