I don't think that should happen - normal staircases should always allow you to climb back up, in principle. Are you sure it was a normal staircase and not an "escape hatch," because those are one-way. It seems pretty unreasonable for it to land you in a 1x1 room with nothing in it, though...

Well, that's super, because Sojobo just dropped me a Triple Sword of Electrocution. :p Also, Sojobo is a crazy badass. In regards to Lom Lobon, does Tornado provide any sort of protection against missile attacks? It would make sense if it did, but that doesn't always mean much... I have only had like one character to get Tornado cast and it was several versions ago. :p

Congratulations!

I'm a bit curious - what was giving you a hard time in Tomb? I haven't gone into it with Necromutation this version, but in .15 I stayed in Lichform the whole time and just had so much MR and HP by that point that Dispel Undead wasn't really an issue.

I think that the "more mobs show up and you're low on MP" scenario is not so much a problem as some might think - in most cases, some of your spells are disables/escapes, and failing that, the enemy is at the edge of your LoS, so you have time to read a scroll to get out if all else fails...

True enough, to equipping/unequipping Vampiric can be a pain, and I figured blow my enchant weapon scrolls on it, since Vampiric will be amazing for quite some time.
