Doors also create tactics that are good, unlike door-dancing. It would be bad to remove door closing and lose these tactics.
Give doors a chance to break on use. Something like 10%. Yes the vault warden thing is still a problem.

I only used it significantly in one game. The way I used it was point-blank or short-range. I don't think that reducing the size of the explosions is necessarily a buff, could be a nerf depending on how it's used. I thought it would be a chance to knockback and not guaranteed. But regardless of chance to knockback, after knocking them back you would press . to wait and then evoke the knockback again. This makes it three keys per attack.

Because it's tedious to press two keys per attack (v enter) when you could be pressing one. Although reaching is worse than 2 keys because of targeting. Maybe if the knockback was a fighting stance that you could turn on and off that would be better, but I'm not going to judge what is acceptable and...

Regarding the 2.0 version's last ability Reverse Destiny, I think you should keep either ultimate blink or wormhole or something else. It's not really a god of time and as mentioned in another recent thread the ability is too hard to program in crawl.

When the difference is between 0 and 1 rF, the usefulness is not debated. You use rF when fighting fire damaging monsters. It's the same in Sil.

I find that EV is consistent damage reduction and does not really have "swingy" damage taken. Basically same as AC aside from gdr.

I would definitely not learn necro or earth spells with this character. Melee with vamp battleaxe + exec axe is very good. You need higher axes skill and better armor and dodging. Uh, when people say "UC is bad" what they really mean is that "UC is bad in early game, which is also only relevant part of the game". At 15-ish UC is becomes pretty damn strong, and it only gets better. I find that it becomes better than weapons at around 10 UC (13 base damage)...
