Do not trust wiki.

There's no easy formula. There is also no min-delay equivalent for spells. Low level spells have power caps which can be reached fairly easily, but high level spells have caps hardly achievable in a 3-rune game. You know that Elves hit hard, right? A deep elf sorcerer / high priest can kill you with two hellfires and neither invisibility nor high evasion will do anything good... Also with no fire resist a fireball can take a half of your HPs.
