I think 3d universe laws of physics don't apply to possibly a 2d universe of crawl. also flying or size of creatures doesn't mean the same thing in the universe of crawl, seeing how a bee and a giant or two bees can't fit into one tile. What do you do after you beat Bejka's dungeon? It just seems super grindy then as I can either babysit that dungeon and use tons of god potions or I can do Rawdan's and wait a bit.

I've only won one Nem game, so take this with the appreciable grain of salt but once you have 1-2 possibly stacked legendary decks of escape you probably want to turn them off too. You'll still get them as the weighting changes but really if you have 10 get out of jail free cards, you shouldn't need...

Base damage isn't the same as enchantment damage. The battleaxe is going to do more damage to anything not weak to ice.

If he's dealing with .12 skald, he doesn't need a lot of charms because low level charms that you cast before the fight aren't at all similar to things you need to cast in a fight. Cast your charm at 50% fail because it doesn't really matter.

I don't see why cleaving would make sense here. When people used scythes as weapons, they had the blade attached so it's pointing forwards, so it can be used as a normal polearm weapon. Not really something you'd "cleave" with. More like stab people or hack them to bits. This is very diff...
