I mostly take Dith for the defensive bonuses. Decreased enemy accuracy, stealth, fog, and shadow form for extreme defense. The shadow mimic offensive bonus is nice, but to me secondary.

I do agree that Dith is not the best stabber god, but Dith is quite good for many other characters.

Currently, every spell that creates a targeted cloud on top of a monster is a triple-school L6 spell, and all of them have worse cloud types than miasma. Y'all are dramatically underestimating how much XP these proposed revisions should cost.

I think that to balance this you'd want to base the piety value on some estimation of the quality of enchantable gear that exists in the dungeon, but that would be a lot of work.

Everyone is wrong. Sacrifice Eye was briefly equivalent to two amulets of inaccuracy. This was deemed far too irritating, and was quickly changed.

Conjurations aren't the best way to turn MP or XP into damage, but they do tend to be among the best ways convert turns into damage, and unlike one of the main rivals (melee), they offer to do that from relative safety.

Regarding the first issue, I don't like the idea of changing monster behavior in Zigs. It might make sense to change how the loot gets placed within levels, but I don't have an opinion there.

Also Dex-8 isn't possible in any recent-ish version of crawl, and after 0.16 you can only have up to 2 bad qualities on the same randart. I assume this is either from an ancient version of crawl or some extreme exaggeration.
