The monster HP is shown in the monster description. The explicit number we want is hit point damage. So if the monster has 150 HP and you get "you bludgeon the monster (43) The monster convulses (27)" you know it has 80 HP left. No need to convert anything.

Thanks! Having high stats is very fun. Getting blink and PoG early on is of course a huge advantage in being a Warper of Chei.

In DCSS, !!!!!! is 288+ damage, !!!!!!! is 576+ damage. If you play a stabber, you'll get these. The hard part is getting to TRJ without waking it up. Shadow Step is good for this.

It means that ghost names are gathered from online usernames and included in downloadable offline versions. Nothing is gathered from offline versions.

I don't often suggest removing things from Crawl, but maybe the -Tele property should just be removed from items (except fixedarts). It encourages tedious behaviour. Otherwise I don't have an opinion about teleportation traps yet, but if I do die on Zot:5 because of them, I will probably have one......

Never take Zin on a spellcaster for a 3-rune game. You will get extremely frustrated about spell hunger and unless you get lucky with food shops, you'll find yourself training Spellcasting just to get your spells hungerless.

Collateral kills are kills by your allies etc. Vanquished other are then other than by you or your allies. I believe this includes things like enemy friendly fire, confused enemies ets.
