Not sure about the layout without actually seeing the map, but usually you can get pretty close to the oklob because there are some plants around. And then you can just run into the temple.

If not, invisibility is a good idea. Maybe also use agility.

"Crawl Light" was a fork of DCSS (it was forked off 0.8). I was reading the changelog. What jumped out at me:

No food.
No ID.
SquareLoS.
Everyone starts with a scroll of teleport and potion of agility.

You can do extended with Okawaru. Finesse remains good all game.

If you want to convert to TSO, do it before Crypt, so you can build up piety there quickly. Keep in mind that Okawaru wrath can be dangerous.

I wouldn't worry about arrows. You have enough. Just be careful of water/lava.

Learn Simulacrum. You can learn whatever else you like.

With 15 shields, I would wear the large shield if the spell failure rate is bearable. A regular shield is also probably better than a buckler.

It's possible, but it would be a lot of work. I might do a little bit of it anyway, because I want to see how some races like Nagas and Felids do in the early game. My impression is that Nagas need to be buffed in the early game.
