Did you ever consider to play online? You could look at other players' games (or vice versa) and chat with them.

However, be careful when you're out of food. Pan usually has enough food laying around. But sneaking and looking for food seems to be better now than casting fire storms.

Well, things like this happen. It's about the same as worshipping TSO and accidentally poison a foe.

This should be a minor problem, you're only under penance for a while. If you continue getting piety Sif should forgive you soon.
