So if I understood it correctly when you start untraining skill which gets crosstraining bonus you basically get 50% less skill points to your new skill, no matter the order you put skillpoints into that skill.

Actually way originally thought it would work was a bit silly XD

I was exploring new territory and the bug appeared right behind me! My guess it was coded trap cause it was only corridor in otherwise open level. (it also was last place i explored on that level.) Well i have shield of reflection +1 (also shield of resist fire +2, but using relfection) Shield skill 12,5. long blades 14, Troll armor of cold resistance. Lot's of wands and potions. Anyway i found 2 dire elephants and a dire troll and decided that no need to risk it, i'll come back later.

Didn't really think about how this combines with blink... uncontrolled blink suddenly becomes controlled enough. Anyway how would this be THE most over powered spell. Mephitic Cloud is a Level 3 Air/Poison/Conjuration spell. I'm not sure why you would rather want to cast level 5 Smoke screen.

Anyway interesting idea might be to give Merfolk this as breath ability. 1x1 or 3x3 steam cloud which is projectile targeted breath attack. Just an wild idea.

Quaterstaff of chaos might be nice weapon for 99% of the time, but you shouldn't use it cause berserking ork with electrocution brand can be quite deadly.

Isn't heavier armor generally better than higher dex... -> strength is strong than dex unless you want to be stealthy, or don't want to wear very heavy armor (is there anyother reasons to not wear heavy armor than if you want to cast or go stealthy).
