Just enchant the glaive up, get idealize consistant and tab dumping into str/dex. Spectral at 28% is tolerable for now.

Once you're comfortable with your armor/dodge/fight get spectral and regen sub 10% and invest in evo/light tloc.

The reason mele ogres shy from big clubs now has very little do do with the +1 polearms apt and everything to do with large race shield interaction.

Early damage vs survivability scaling is just drasticly better with 1h+board unless there is a very spikey weapon apt.

You'd need to lower throwing to -5 with the current apts to actually create a meaningful decision. Not a terribly complex choice, just a binary "do I want throwing or other thing" choice. At most there are 4 weapon related options on any species. Everything else is decided at character cre...

Turns out the reason Ogres had a +3 weapon apt was to con the player into making a meaningful decision past the character creation screen that encompassed every viable arms/spell/armor setup in the game.

New skilling makes dogs quite fun and semi-unique in a non invasive way.

Utility spells are cheap on Chei, translocations are your friend.

Evo is always value.

Throwing is huge value on Chei. Pick up a blowgun and some javalins.

Totaly for capetopodes.

I do feel like Mu scales decently in the midgame though provided you focus only the core skills and take Ru/Gozag/Ash/Mak feels about on-par with Hu. Comparing other races to the obscene power spike that is Ds/Na midgame is a tad unfair.
