One of the most enjoyable runs I've ever had was a Mummy Arcane Marksman of Chei. Later on it just becomes a matter of enslaving everything but this combo extends the difficulty of the first few floors into the floors well after it which I found really fun.

I play in whatever way enables me to win quickly and get on with my life. This often just amounts to otab until my rc stops me, then use a consumable to escape. It's worked remarkably well for me so far.

In a game where a vault shaped like a vagina exists, I can reasonably expect vaults to be outlandish, silly, overly difficult, or a combination of the three.

It's just not the same after they removed the orc breeding pits.

Pointless genre semantics aside, FTL: Faster than Light is a really fun game and it's worth checking out. There's also a pretty good mod community for it.
