I like the idea of noisy axes, it would draw in more monsters for you to cleave. I could see the AC penalty, but -5ac in plate seems a bit extreme, I'd lower it to 1-2 points...I'd rather see a noise penalty or EV, though. That could just be my preference for heavy armor on melee talking.

I don't think a summoning limit would be overly complicated. You could reuse spell slots. If you have 40 total spell slots, you can have 40 levels of summons, ie, summon dragon is a level 9 spell, so you could have 4 of them. You'd have 4 left over, summon an ice beast. Or 10 ice beasts and no drago...

croc deaths are definitely a case of playing too fast. They aren't that deadly, but they do get a speedboost in water, which can result in them getting an alarming amount of turns when you take a step in shallow water and take extra time while they take less time to chomp you to bits. It's a very nice robe, its just that most characters need resistances more...once you have the shield of resistance, a robe of resistances isn't as critical. I do find it funny you also wore the octo rings...your ac/ev/sh and stats were very high with all of that gear ;-)

Ninja the runes, it's safer. Killing pan lords is really only an if you want to sort of thing. Zig can be hard to get out of, but it is much easier to bail with c blink. Just be extra careful.
