I had to think about that for a sec.

That potion is really the ultimate in "rewards system mastery", which seems to go against crawl philosophy. Personally I like being rewarded for such things, but I thought I'd point it out.

The concept and some of the suggestions sound neat. I'd like to see this more than once per game, if it's well executed. Even as often as 10% of all levels.

Especially the ones which change only monsters and level generation, as opposed to those which temporarily change the rules of the game.

I think ya'll are missing part of the point of nemelex: It's OK for a card effect to be useless in some situations. The player is supposed to manage this by using various draw/stack/pick abilities, or simply by not waiting until he is one turn from death before blind drawing from decks.

Resistances are important before Zot, but that's not why you are dying.

Post the morgue of your snake:2 death and we'll tell you what you did wrong. Most likely it was fighting too many monsters at once and not using your consumables.

I was wondering why you had gnolls in your list of bad berserkers, but then I saw you were playing the old trunk version of gnoll.

In the released version, there isn't any such thing as a bad gnoll. You've probably figured that out by now.

FR remove blowguns, rename needles to darts, remove about half the dart brands.
