You shouldn't die to worms, because unless you are playing a naga you are faster than them, and can escape at any time. I play Tiles, since it is generally easier to look at a picture and at least have a semblance of what it is I might be looking at, then a letter which I have to memorize to know what it represents. I also have good eyesight though so I can see most little tile differences.

Probably that's one thing I held off too long in - was concentrating on my Armour and Fighting for Defense first while I had just changed skill training to Unarmed Combat to get that up some more.
