"Pieces of fruit" could be a single item type using the speech database for messages like pizza does. Presumably the flavour message for strawberries/grapes/sultanas would be "a handful of <whatever>" to justify them having whatever nutrition value the item ends up getting, sound...

Ignacio already does roughly this in Pan and I don't think it works very well. It just sort of means you have to kill him if he shows up (presumably much more so for this proposal, due to the spell set and knowledge of player location).

"ae += foo" is an autopickup exception, "ae += <foo" is an autopickup inclusion. Also, try the options guide.

This is intended (or if it wasn't originally intended, it's not a problem and doesn't need changing). Both the temple_entry_from_below vaults have a glass window to show you the way in.

There are 8 rings of the Octopus King, each with a different main property (Regen, rF+, rC+, SustAb, Hunger-, Wiz, MP+9, rN+), and yes, they can all generate in a single game. Other unrandarts can only generate once.

You have about 8 power for pure necromancy spells there and there's a 6/power chance to break from the MP-increasing loop when self-sublimating, so this is definitely expected, yeah.

In trunk you don't need those includes, the default stuff is always included. Does your config change any colours after the includes? If so it probably clears and overwrites the defaults in the process.

See the read me post, threads with a million ideas with no real thought behind them are not really a good thing.

(Also there are various options you can set to automatically sacrifice corpses in various ways, with prompts or just when you start exploring and so on).
