If you make the damage/accuracy low enough at low skill levels, it'll almost never be worth the bother to fire/throw stuff with no training. Especially if doing so costs more than 10 auts. Why are you so afraid of failing to cast DD? If you try casting it 2x in a row, your combined fail chance is 5%*5%=0.025%. I doubt even quaffing brilliance could get the fail chance much under 1%

I stand corrected. LRD does damage targets outside of LOS, but the interface makes it look like it can't.

See this example below: the middle of the cage is not highlighted, which made me think it can't be damaged. The monster in the cage was killed however.

I think LRD recently got changed not to affect out-of-LOS enemies. I was annoyed because before that LRD was one of my favourite spells. a smite targeted damage spell that hits things out of LOS, is single-school, does a hell of a lot more damage than BVC, and is currently the best spell in the game...

As a compromise between people wanting 1 or 2 menus, you could put the jewellery in a separate section underneath the armour. (Whilst still maintaining the functionality of the T key.) That way it can all be accessed through 1 key, old keys still work, and people who like the current keys won't have...

I agree, I don't see how the scroll of fog helps the AM.
Because I find the AM really hard in the early dungeon, of give them good consumables: 1 scroll of torment, 1 scroll of immolation, and 1 potion of lignification. :)

If this makes the early game too easy, just make the early game more difficult (via harder monsters or less starting skill)
