It's weird that if I put ego clothes on, I get the ego, but if I keep them on, but form skin over on top of them, incorporating them fully into my body via a Transmutation spell, the ego goes away.

But they used to be able to be trampled out of their terrain. I recall charming an elephant that trampled a shark onto dry land. Haven't tried again for several versions.

I only use 'o' till I can't, then I use 'tab' till I can't, then I tend to manually flail till I get around the barrier till I can 'o' and 'tab' again.

Many times I have to start over.

I believe Hasting and Healing wands don't scale with Evocations Skill. Aside from Digging, they might be the only ones. Make them scale with Evocations, and make them much, MUCH, less useful (by default) at low Evocations. Wand of Haste at 0 Evocations? 2 turns of haste and glow that lasts THREE TIM...
