The issue for me is with monster-invis, not autopick.

Please remove monster invis, replace it with old phase shift or any other EV buff. It would be a buff with some summons but anything to improve the current situation.

I've been trying out Animate dead a bit. Those Zombies/Skeletons are awfully weak, aren't they? They haven't really been helpful. The Imps seem to be much more useful, if only because you can create a new one as soon as one dies. But perhaps I'm a bit too far into the game now for either to be real...

I learned only 4 skills (fighting, bows, armour, dodging) this was one mistake. You hadn't reasons to not train evocations, which could help a lot against the dangerous situations you described. Training for example bow just to 24 or less you would have trained a lot evo, without losing practically...

While hornets are fast and have high defenses and decent hp and damage, they have only 40 MR so I'd say that any death from their puncture is more a player fault than a case of 'unavoidable\spoilery paralysis is a stupid mechanism'

Thanks for the answer, I managed to reload my game and now even successive reload seems to work fine.

Edit: nope, can't reload again the game. At the same time I can normally load and play trunk games on other server (lantea e xtahua) so it isn't a problem of my browser and\or connection.

I'd strongly suggest to learn simulacrum. Really no reason to not knowing it at 1% fail rate with kiku.

Well with Gn spells are easy: learn those goods you have at decent failure rate. From the books in the dump I'd say spectral weapon, regen ad conjure flames are the ones certainly worth.
