As it stands the tutorial should just mention it as a must get spell/school for most players, and that's foolish. Players who don't immediately come to the conclusion on their own that a 50% speed increase is a good thing don't need to be told about it, because they are clearly too stupid to operat...

Some unique do "always" drop some kind of loot (pan/hell lords). So it's not a unique feature, and even then the unique won't appear/be defeated in every game and if placed in a good vault, might even die in deep water.

BTW: this unique really makes me think of octodad.

Str do matter immediately, since it increase your weight capacity, and it's primordial in order to carry more than 5 large rocks or a bunch of spears. And true I should've put more in INT, but I planned to do a three rune, and early survivability was my biggest concern.

I think the monster I use polymorph other on most often is orc warrior. Any reason why? I tend to poly only monsters with nasty abilities if I can't cope with it, sometime Jelly, Uniques, kobold with wand... (sadly nastiest things have high MR). When you see a new monster, don't go to fight hit. First look your environment and HP, if it's secure, then don't move forward (unless you want to scout or the foo is a pop corn rat), attract the monster by throwing something (spear, axe...). Because it's a challenge combo. Even Oka is not the easiest god. If it goes very well, I may switch when I get some good weapon/armor. BTW the projectils gift are a "mistake", I already had +12 large rocks when my throwing skills jumped from 7.3 to 8.1 because I killed a Fire Giant (zombie).
