Dislikes use of axes?

Imo you'd get a better effect with no hassle by carrying around a disk of storms. Those aren't so uncommon.
To reiterate though, the problem I have is that I can see a giant explosion engulf everything around the shock serpent, but it only damages me for some reason.

As far as I know, shock serpent explosions are the only ones in the game which don't harm enemies and only harm the player. I don't see how it makes sense.

It should probably have a more interesting name than "seraph" if it's going to be unique.

Just don't take off an amulet of faith multiple times, you'll never get offered sacrifices again.

I like that shaft traps act as one-use escape hatches. They're good for skipping floors in hell and lair.

I see, so as I understand it you just need to be able to survive long enough to get enough money to open a food store...and most of your future gold will go towards food. So it's not a death sentence, but it does make Gozag pretty useless.

Actually I had a moment where I thought to myself, "why the heck am I doing so much damage with this trident." I actually thought, maybe there's a bug and tridents are doing more damage than they should. But I didn't notice anything unusual with my bardiche later on, or with many battle ax...

Stair dance to fight on V4 until you get locked onto the floor (might not happen if you get lucky), read immolation to try and kill the wardens, escape to abyss if you feel like you need it.

Edit: but yeah, probably avoid V5 as a Fo.

Why not give Ru a try? It's a very powerful god with good active and passive abilities.

I'd definitely train that whip to min delay as fast as possible. Damage output will be superb combined with your bite.
