Do you actually support these patches, or do you just say that to encourage people to take a whack at it. :P

Do hydras attack faster in water too, or is it just movement speed?

This seems like the kind of thing where if you coded a patch (which is easier than it sounds, you mostly assemble your pet project out of code from other, similar effects), it would stand a high chance of being accepted. Xom's the kind of god where more options / effects is good, so as to provide mo...

Re: Allow armour to be searched with "armor"

I've learned to just search for "armo". Try it out! I believe it doesn't turn up any false positives. If this were to be fixed, I think a broader solution would be better, such as the game interpreting "o" as a match for "ou" in all cases, in the event the user needs to...

One of them has very lightweight fur though, so at a touch or in a strong breeze, she sheds fur up, into the air, like a dandelion.

Re: on finite, unlimited resources (arrows)

I think this is a fair attempt to solve some of the problems with current ranged weapons in Crawl. It solves the problems of ammo mulching and half-solves weapon switching -- half-solves because you still have a better-but-limited resource (bolts) that you want to avoid using on chaff. The proposal...

There's a very serious autopickup routine here, it might give you ideas or be usable wholecloth.

Should it really be "cough up a furball"? One uses Recite many times in the course of a game. That can spiral into quite an unrealistic number of furballs. How about other cat "get ready to do stuff" activities? You arch your back? You stretch out langorously? You lick your paw?

Circus Animals has the code for this, regular crawl could use it. Muts are good/bad/depends. Anything that could ruin your armor slot is "depends". Potions of mut can give you any mutation, but BeneMut potions only give you Good, aka good mutations that don't make you lose a slot. https://...

Each unique is worth a number of points equal to the number of player kills it has credited to it in 0.17 and 0.18? Might need a "average depth" multiplier so the earlier uniques aren't favorited. Like total kills * 1.1^depth ?
